    Frequently asked questions

    Singapore company tax, explained simply.

My company made a loss. Do I still need to file?

Generally, an active company must still file its annual corporate tax return even if it made a loss. Special circumstances and IRAS filing waivers require checking.

Is ECI the same as Form C-S?

No. ECI reports an estimate after a financial year ends, while Form C-S (Lite), C-S or C reports actual income for an annual corporate tax return.

Does revenue below S$200,000 automatically qualify for Lite?

No. A company also needs to meet all Form C-S eligibility requirements. This checker highlights likely pathways but cannot verify claims or accounting records.

Does this tool calculate or submit my tax return?

No. TaxCheck is a free filing guidance and readiness navigator, not an IRAS filing portal or a substitute for a reviewed tax computation.

Do I have to share financial documents?

No. TaxCheck does not request files, UENs, passwords or company financial statements. If you choose to contact Eorenda, send sensitive documents only through a separately agreed secure channel.
